A Legacy of Care, Community & Camaraderie
A registered family club exclusively for doctors and their families, serving Mysuru since 2001.

How it all began
The doctor's life is a hectic one, with very little time available for family and friends. While many forums existed for sharing academics, there were few avenues for leisure, relaxation and family outings.
With that in mind, a group of like-minded doctors came together on 20 April 2001 to form a family club exclusively for doctors and their families. The response was tremendous.
The Mysore Doctors' Club (R) was formally launched on 29 July 2001 with 215 members, under the leadership of Dr. C. D. Sreenivas Murthy as its first President. Early activities began at Kadur Inn, a private resort, with cultural and musical programmes that gave members — and especially their children — a memorable platform to showcase their talent.
For years, the club sought a permanent home of its own, but the cost of a suitable site remained out of reach. Through careful stewardship of members' funds over more than a decade — and under the successive leadership of Dr. H. C. Vishnumurthy and now Dr. B. V. Raj Gopal — that search finally bore fruit.
The club has since been allotted a 4,454 sq. mt. corner site (CA Site No. 13) by MUDA in Lalbahadur Shastry Nagar, with a majestic view of Chamundi Hills. Built using innovative EPS technology, the club's own home — the first of its kind for doctors and their families in Mysuru — is on track to open in September 2026.

President's Message
Esteemed colleagues of the medical fraternity, the Mysore Doctors' Club brings you all warm greetings and best wishes.
A doctor's life is a hectic one, with very little time available for family and friends. While academic forums abound, there has never been a dedicated space for leisure, relaxation and family time — a gap a group of like-minded doctors set out to fill on 20 April 2001, launching this club on 29 July 2001 with 215 members.
We now have wonderful news to share: the club has been allotted a corner site of 4,454 sq. mts. (CA Site No. 13) by MUDA in Lalbahadur Shastry Nagar, with a majestic view of Chamundi Hills. Built using innovative EPS technology, our new club house — with a reception, restaurant, lounge, board room, a mezzanine floor for indoor sports, a library and a 300-seat auditorium — is on track to open in September 2026, with a swimming pool, spa, badminton and tennis courts, guest rooms and a roof-garden restaurant to follow.
Membership is open once again — to doctors across Mysuru, the state and beyond. We warmly invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter.
